Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EdvizorAI services, your institution agrees to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services. These terms constitute a binding agreement between your institution and EdvizorAI (Tesseraz, Inc.).

2. Services Description

EdvizorAI provides an AI-powered student advising platform for higher education institutions. Services include: AI chatbot deployment, knowledge base configuration, analytics dashboards, human escalation routing, and integration with institutional systems.

3. Institutional Responsibilities

• ✓Institutions are responsible for the accuracy of content provided for the knowledge base
• ✓Institutions must designate an administrator with authority to configure and manage the platform
• ✓Institutions are responsible for notifying students of AI-assisted advising as required by applicable law
• ✓Institutions must use the platform in compliance with FERPA and other applicable regulations

4. Intellectual Property

EdvizorAI retains all intellectual property rights to the platform, AI models, and software. Institutions retain ownership of their content, data, and knowledge base materials. EdvizorAI is granted a limited license to use institutional content solely to provide the services.

5. Limitation of Liability

EdvizorAI provides AI-assisted information and is not a substitute for qualified human advisors. Institutions are responsible for ensuring students receive appropriate human advising for complex academic, financial, or personal matters. EdvizorAI's liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 12 months.

6. Term and Termination

Services are provided on an annual subscription basis. Either party may terminate with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, all institutional data will be returned or deleted within 90 days per our data retention policy.
