• ✓Institution configuration data provided during onboarding (knowledge base content, policies)
• ✓Student interaction data (anonymized queries and responses) to improve AI accuracy
• ✓Account and contact information for institutional administrators
• ✓Usage analytics to improve platform performance

3. FERPA Compliance

EdvizorAI is designed to comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). We act as a "school official" under FERPA, using student education records only for the legitimate educational purposes for which we were engaged. Student data is never sold, shared with third parties for advertising, or used to train general-purpose AI models.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access controls, regular security audits, and SOC 2 Type II compliance. All data is stored in secure, US-based cloud infrastructure.

5. Data Retention

Conversation data is retained for the duration of your institutional contract plus 90 days, after which it is permanently deleted. Institutions may request earlier deletion at any time.
